The 37th Annual WNEC School of Law Invitational!
Dear Colleagues,
Western New England College School of Law is proud to invite you to compete in the 37th Annual Western New England College School of Law Basketball Invitational. This year’s tournament will be held on February 17-19, 2012. Last year’s tournament was an overwhelming success with participation of nearly thirty teams representing fourteen law schools from all over the east coast! Each year our tradition grows stronger and we invite you to become a part of our history.
The Tournament is open to all interested law students and alumni. The tournament includes separate men’s and women’s divisions. Due to time and space limitations, we have capped the number of teams at thirty-two (32), so please send in your deposit check as soon as possible in order to reserve a spot. The registration fee for this year’s tournament is $300 per team. The fees cover NCAA referees, tournament t-shirts for your entire team, programs containing team and tournament information, and refreshments including a players’ and coaches’ luncheon held on the Saturday of the tournament. In addition, we will be hosting social events on Friday and Saturday nights after the games – open to all!
If you would like to participate in the 37th Annual Western New England College School of Law Invitational, please send a non-refundable deposit of $100/team by December 1, 2011 to ensure that your team will be able to participate. Once we have received notice of your participation and a deposit check, you will be sent additional information concerning the tournament and the weekend schedule. This year we have worked out an arrangement with the Sheraton Monarch Place to reserve one hundred (100) rooms at the discounted rate of $99 per night. For reservations call (413) 781-1010 or (800) 426-9004. (tell the receptionist you are with WNEC when calling) Must be booked before January 14, 2012. Additional information regarding accommodations will be supplied to all registered teams.
